Season Six
Bargaining (Part 1)
Willow has become stronger in her abilities, and the rest of the gang
are vampire hunting as a team, using the Buffybot to keep too many enemies
from discovering that Sunnydale is without a Slayer. They are not the best
substitute Slayers, though, and at one point Giles' life flashes before his
eyes ("Cup of tea; cup of tea; almost got shagged; cup of tea.").
Willow and Tara have moved into Buffy's home to look after Dawn, Giles
decides there is nothing to keep him from returning to England, and leaves
just before the gang try to bring Buffy back from the dead with a touch of
magic.

Bargaining (Part 2)
Buffy may be alive, but after being brought back in her coffin, six feet
under ground, she is badly traumatised by the experience. A gang of
demonic bikers has worked out that the Buffybot is no Slayer substitute and
have decided to take over Sunnydale. The real Buffy, not recognising friend
or foe, thinks she's still in hell, and it takes a frightened Dawn to
convince her otherwise.
(Cast as before)
After Life
Buffy is alive, well, but not fully recovered. And there appears to be
something wrong. Some force has been released by the spell which brought
Buffy back. While she doesn't feel like saying much to the gang, and they
are left leaderless after Giles' departure, a surprised Spike finds he has
the most in common with Buffy, when she explains she was pulled back from
Heaven, or the nearest equivalent to it.

Flooded
Buffy is struggling to pay the bills and keep the house in a state of
good repair. Real life never used to be like this. While she's busy failing
to get a bank loan, the three nerds try to use a demon's strength to rob the
same bank. To make matters more uncomfortable, Giles' return sparks off a
disagreement with Willow.

Life Serial
Buffy is worried about finding a new direction in her life. Going back
to school doesn't help, working in construction comes a cropper, retail just
seems to repeat itself. Someone is messing around with Buffy's head, and the
black van that is following her around might hold the key to the mystery.

All The Way
Dawn has her first kiss but discovers her newfound beau has a deadly
secret. Dawn is also stealing and lying, and is in danger of becoming a bit
of a wild child. Buffy is not particularly good at parenthood, so Dawn falls
in with a couple of teenage tearaways while Willow is using too much magic,
to the concern of Tara. Anya and Xander have an announcement to make.
Well...Anya wants Xander to make it but he doesn't see the need for such
urgency.

Once More, With Feeling
Willow's overuse of magic has reached the point where she is using it to
make Tara forget an argument...about her overuse of magic. Xander seems to
have caused Sunnydale to live the life of a musical (albeit a pretty good
one). Frequently bursting into hilarious or dramatic song, our heroes
struggle to discover the cause, whilst being forced to reveal their deepest
secrets to imaginative scores. Buffy reveals she was pulled from heaven,
Xander and Anya voice their doubts about marriage, Willow's addiction to
magic is expounded, Giles feels he is in the way, and Buffy can find no
enthusiasm now for life and seeks solace with Spike. Their lives may never
be the same again.

Tabula Rasa
Buffy's relationship with Spike is now a little difficult. The previous
episode's musical chickens are coming home to roost as Tara makes Willow
promise not to use magic for an entire week; a promise which is kept for now
more than a couple of hours. Willow casts a spell of forgetfulness which
goes wrong and hits the whole gang. For a while humorous chaos rules, but
when order is restored Tara leaves, Giles returns to England, and Buffy and
Spike are even closer together...

Smashed
Spike discovers an important fact about Buffy and how she returned to
life slightly different. They fight out their tensions with each other and
bring the house down. Willow realises she knows how to bring Amy back and
the two go on a magic spree. The three nerds stage a diamond snatch, but it
seems fairly incidental to the storyline.

invisibility ray which they accidentally fire at the Slayer. Apart from
being invisible, Buffy has other problems with a social services worker who
is threatening to take Dawn into care. She decides to take advantage of her
present condition, little knowing it is slowly killing her. Willow must use
her brain power instead of her magic power to save the Slayer.

Normal Again
The three nerds continue their quest to kill Buffy by releasing a demon.
It scratches her and she suddenly realises she is not Buffy the Vampire
Slayer, but Buffy the long-term psychiatric patient. She's been in and out
of asylums for years and Sunnydale was just a six-year long illusion as she
sought to escape the real world. In that fake life, Anya has now left
Sunnydale but Xander still wants to date and be with her, despite chickening
out of the whole marriage thing. Buffy jumps into and out of her
illusionary world to discover that in the real world her parents have come
to visit her while she's unexpectedly lucid. It's all rather grim as the
question of which life is the true one is left tantalisingly unanswered.

complicated relationships are tearing apart the rest of the gang, while
Warren plans a robbery. With a bit of help from Jonathan, whom Warren had
been planning to remove, Buffy inflicts one final defeat on the nerds. Back
home with Xander, Willow and Tara, it's friendship that counts, but nothing,

Grave
Giles is back, and he's brought a bit of borrowed power with him. He
continues the battle to hold Willow while Xander and Dawn try to get the two
nerds to safety. Willow draws all of Giles' power, linking them together as
Giles had planned, and without her knowledge weakening herself just enough
so that Xander can appeal to the last spark of humanity in her and save the
world from destruction. Dawn shows she's learnt a move or two from Buffy
(all of a sudden), and Spike gets his reward - a soul.
